Roulette Secrets
Roulette is a slow-paced, gentle game that seems to attract a more calm
and sophisticated crowd than does most of the other games in the casino.
But what are the roulette secrets that can have the average player hooting
and hollering as the wins keep coming? Systems, strategies, techniques,
plans, whatever, we won't claim to have all the roulette secrets to win
but we can advise you on certain tips that should have you on the right
path to winnings. Be advised, if you're an experienced roulette player,
the roulette secrets below may not be anything new for you. It's very
likely that they're facts that you already know.
Some of our roulette secrets:
- The roulette system supporters may not like this, but it'll be said
here - be very careful of roulette systems. If it's such a 'great' roulette
system, why then are they looking to sell it to make money? Shouldn't
they be looking to use it in a casino for themselves and make tones
of money?
- If available, try to play single zero (European / French) roulette.
The fact that there is one zero and not two (as is the case with American
Roulette) cuts the house edge significantly, thus improving your
odds of winning
- Never bet the five number bet - it has the worst odds on the table
- Try to play at casinos that offer the surrender rule. This will cut
the house edge almost as much as a single zero roulette wheel will,
but only on even-money outside bets
- In reality, there ought to be no biased roulette wheels - and it's
likely that this is so 99.99% of the time. In a real land casino, the
roulette wheel is an expertly crafted and finely tuned piece of equipment.
In theory, the only thing that could in a way cause a wheel to be biased
is wear and tear on the wheel's parts that might result in some mechanical
imperfections - warped wood, imbalances or slight tilts
- Smart money management can be the difference between big money winners
and losers. Never gamble money that you can't afford to lose. Never
invest in something that you don't understand. Past performance is not
always an indication of future results or possibilities
- Always remember to cash-in all your roulette chips after play. The
chips are special to the roulette table, and can't be used in any other
games.
